Most people, if they find 20$ in an empty parking lot of an abandoned building will pocket it. If they find 20$ at the spot where they’s just watched a single parent wrangling 2 toddlers and fiddling with their wallet will try to return it. Trump (and pharma Bro and, I suspect, a fair number of business people) will only ask if it landed on a public sidewalk or a private driveway, and if the latter, does the penalty for keeping it outweigh the value. Trump is probably genuinely baffled that anybody ever expects him to leave anything on the table he doesn’t absolutely have to. ---
