You’ve reminded me of how when Trump left the White House the first time, lots of things that are supposed to be permanent fixtures or furniture there managed to walk out the door with him. I know, in the grand scheme, it really was a very minor thing, but I think it served as the perfect metaphor for his presidency, in fact his whole attitude to life.
