I guess it’s possible, but who would commission a copy of a friggin’ desk? And if so commissioned, I would expect an artisan or somebody to come forward and advertise their wares (“sit behind a _real_ copy of the Resolute Desk - for only $XXXXX”). Simple answer is simple - that thieving SOB has literally stolen what was not nailed down ---
