For reference, a hockey puck and a baseball are 3 inches in diameter. In the Dark Knight, Harvey Dent flipped a double headed 'Liberty Dollar". If, somehow the double assed Trump coin gets made it should be referred to as a ‘Subjugation Dollar’. ---

I’m thinking that any Trump coin, legal tender or not, will be so popular among the MAGA set, that the US Mint will produce plenty to meet demand; and then produce plenty more to meet continuing demand (\*). And the MAGAts will hoard them, or circulate them among themselves. There will be so many minted, in spite of no demand for them outside of the MAGA world, that they will become about as valuable as a Franklin Mint collector plate. Of course, Trump could declare that it would be a legal tender $1 coin, but then, he’d have to deal with all the Americans (including MAGAts) who have already rejected the idea of a dollar coin how many times now? And if Trump demands that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing stop printing paper dollars to force the use of the Trump dollar, what would Americans say to that? (\*) On a predominantly right-wing board that I occasionally look at, one poster gleefully proclaimed that he’d buy a few rolls, because they’d make great stocking stuffers for the grandkids next Christmas. And the Christmas after that. And so on, and so on. ---

The critical thing about any trump coins that ever do get minted is that all the metal that goes into them will be sourced from a special trump-owned company. That charges the taxpayers $100 oz for iron, $200 for copper or zinc, and $20,000 oz for silver. That outfit sells the best precious metal anyone has ever seen. The best metal. The total number of coins in the initial order will be truly yuge; the biggest batch of coins ever made. ---

That actually seems like an awesome idea. If he made the change and enforced it upon his administration, there’s a very good chance that Google Maps would play along, which would make their bootlicking on the Gulf of Mexico clearer to see for what it is. ---
