Mine expires in October 2028 but the article says, “The official said that the passport ‘will be the default passport out of the Washington Passport Agency when available’ for those who renew their passports in person at that location.” I probably won’t renew at that location, so no Trump picture for me. ---

Clearly trolling. It seems to work. Or at least, it has different administration officials talking about him. I know it’s difficult to understand or remember, but there’s a lot of people out there (roughly the 35-45% who support Trump) who actually respond well to that sort of thing. Intelligence, rational discourse is fine and all but won’t reach them at all ---

Actually, I don’t think he owns any hotels in Washington, D.C. The one he owned during his first term was in the Old Post Office Building but he sold that one. ---

Yes, you’re right (though the family does run a private club there that likely provides overnight accommodations). I gather that his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey is probably the closest open-to-the-public hotel, these days. Still, it’s hard to believe that the passport is being restricted to applicants in the DC area _ **without** _ providing any cash-grab opportunities for Donald. ---
