You might recall Dan Savage’s campaign to tar the name of anti-LGBTQ senator Rick Santorum by making “santorum” a slang term for [look it up, it’s too gross to even mention here]. In response, a wise-guy reader suggested he do the same thing for Michael Savage by making a disgusting slang term out of the word “savage.” ---
