It’s not an uncommon phrase that has continued to be in use, and has nothing to do with that film, especially 80 years later. And rather than let it go, after the discussion moved on, you keep bringing it back, like it’s important for us to remember how stupid you were. We all say dumb things now and then. I sure do. Although I’m aware of the non-prejudicial meaning of the phrase “Gentleman’s Agreement”, that is the first thing that springs to mind when I hear the phrase. When I googled the phrase, the first page and a half were references to the book or film. So i can’t agree that the implications of the phrase are not affected by an “80 year old movie”. That you ( **Atasama** ) had not encountered that use of the phrase strikes me as odd. ---

It chronicles “500 Days of Corruption,” cataloging every instance of Trump granting pardons for pay, every instance of the Trump DoJ dropping investigations after people have donated to him, every instance of his children investing in businesses and those businesses suddenly receiving lucrative government contracts, and much more. Very informative. And rage-inducing. Edit: I tagged you in my response because you mentioned Trump’s “beautification” of DC. There was a report (it’s actually been mentioned in a new book coming out) that he’s suggested a replica of his raised fist from his assassination attempt as the topper on his arch. ---
