Trump has a history of focusing heavily on trivial matters when he should be focused on more serious issues. Michael Cohen described Trump the businessman spending a significant amount of time poring over options for curtains and other interior decoration considerations when he should have been running his business. As a fully accredited armchair psychiatrist, my guess is Trump focuses on these kinds of things because it’s a comfort to have something he can exert near total control over. i.e. It’s a psychological coping mechanism. ---
