In the beginning of Trump’s first term, John Oliver on _Last Week Tonight_ would say ~“Remember last week when we thought the Trump administration hit rock bottom? Rock bottom is now way up there [pointing up at the ceiling]!” I think Oliver gave up on pointing this out after a few weeks because every week was a new rock bottom. ---
