For god’s sake, Trump is such a fucking idiot. Why exactly is his new term supposedly “highly accepted…and more accurate,” anyway? Does he think it’s “highly accepted” based on his stupid poll? As for “more accurate,” everyone knows what “Artificial Intelligence” means. And this name encompasses the key feature of the technology in question: that it is designed and not biological in nature. (I suppose an argument could be made for “machine intelligence.”) Whereas nobody—other than those who pay attention to Trump’s blathering—have any idea what “Super Intelligence” is referring to. Nor is a particularly apt name, considering the hallucinations of many AI agents. ---
