It sounds like Trump in his quest for efficiency is streamlining the Peter Principal so that rather than promoting workers to the level of their incompetency, they are hiring them at that level right out of the gate. ---

They’re putting people at a level **way** past their level of incompetency. See former parking garage lawyer Alina Habba, who should be disbarred for the crap she pulled in falsely representing herself to a former Trump resort employee and sexual harassment victim, befriending her to get her to sign away her ability to file charges. She clearly has extremely limited legal skills given her frequent failures in court. She’s the acting US Attorney for New Jersey. ---

I doubt he understands the distinction between competent and good looking. We’re all subject to letting appearance affect our judgment of a person. But some of us at least attempt objectivity. He just dials it up to 11 and rips off the knob. ---

He pissed me off last night by being at the latest UFC event. I was watching it on pay-per-view, and they kept cutting back to that smug, arrogant, oh-so-punchable face, and every fighter kept sucking up in their post-fight interviews. ETA: Ivanka was there, too. But she was sitting like 3 rows behind him. That was at least slightly humorous. ---
