I’m very sorry that I mis-gendered a woman I don’t know and have never met. Sorry I thought that she Boogied On Down. Dancing is the only way I’ve ever heard of to make rain. Besides, on her days off maybe she does play some dance music and let loose some stress. That’s no one’s business but hers. As for the bowling ball hail, that might seem too flashy. Maybe the answer to her prayer was just to have Rump go soak his head…? ---

You bring up an interesting point…did they practice rain dances? If they did, did it rain after the practice? And would they still have the actual dance? And if it _didn’t_ rain during the practice, would they think that they did the rain dance incorrectly? ---

Not sure where this belongs, as a previous thread that mentioned this has since been closed. The merger between US Steel and Japan-based Nippon Steel has been approved, with a major caveat. The US government will have a ‘Golden Share’ in the new company, meaning that it will have veto powers over some policies enacted by the company. Trump, of course, said that he will have Total Control. And here I thought that the Pubs were completely opposed to governmental control of private business.
