McCain also was a Navy aviator who dropped bombs on North Vietnam. I don’t think he would be so cavalier about bombing a country. Trump at the time was supposedly combating bone spurs. ---

I turned on NPR at 7:00 as always and was surprise to hear Trump speaking. Ok fine…but here it is 10 minutes later and he’s still droning on and on. I think he’s still on the same sentence. No idea if this was in response to a question. Usually the media would cut off and go to some actual news once its clear that he’s not really saying anything. ---

Mercifully, NPR cut away from Trump’s press conference. Just before the end, though, he told a rambling (and undoubtedly fictional) about how all the leaders he met with in the Middle East praised his leadership and showered him with trillions of dollars in investment because “Sir, you’ve made the United States the hottest country in the world.” A bad day to describe the US as “hot” which I’m sure will not go unnoticed by the late night hosts. ---
