Just remember that if your battery charge isn’t lasting long enough, you may need a larger coal scuttle.
I was trying something like that, but starting with four unicycles.
Have you considered strapping it to a portable generator? They weigh more than the 35 kg, but you’re looking at over 12 hours of run time on one tank of gas, and they already have wheels & such.
Or four motorized unicycles.
Two words: Steam Powered
Are you making it out of iridium? My Shuttle XPC box weighs only a little over 5 Kg fully loaded.
BTW - putting a UPS in the case won’t work. They require AC power to energize.
An inverter will work, but it’s an absurd idea. Spend the money on a high-pwer laptop.
Actually, there are UPSes that fit in 5.25 inch drive bays. Of course, like other UPSes, they are meant to keep the computer running during a power flicker, or just long enough for you to shut down gracefully during a longer outage, and not as a replacement for AC power.
Yes, I’m aware of that.
But, I don’t think any of those will start up without AC power being present.
That’s why you install a kickstarter!
77.1617917647071 pounds, to be exact.[sup]a[/sup]
[sup]a[/sup]Assuming standard gravity.
But the OP said 35 kg, not 35.00000000000000 kg.
Err - why would gravity make any difference. It weighs what it weighs. With different gravity it wouldn’t weigh 35 Kg
Pounds are a unit of weight that varies by local gravity. Kilograms are a unit of mass which do not.
Of course, the OP never indicated that he wanted to build this monstrosity on Mars so the difference is probably academic. I may be going out on a limb but I assume that this computer that weighs as much as a large child is going to be mainly used on Earth so 77.161 lbs is probably a close enough answer.

What a great thread guys, 10/10 on the snark! But yeah, laptops these days can be very capable if ya got the cash for it, especially with those shiny new nvidia mobile gpus. You can even get power banks for those laptops without removable batteries. Again, it just might cost ya an arm an a leg for the lot.

What if it’s used in a run down neighborhood with substandard gravity?
That is true of the pound-force. But a pound-mass is a unit of mass, independent of local gravity/acceleration.
