… the cows are giving evaporated milk and the chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs. It’s so hot the cactus is wilting and the devil is looking for a shady spot. It’s so hot people are wearing their iced tea instead of drinking it. It was 103 °F yesterday, 105 °F today and more of the same forecast until the end of the week. It’s starting to feel like July in Texas around here. 🆒 So, How Hot Is It where you are? ---

Well, when I was out at the dressage stables where I work feeding this evening at 5pm, it was 106 in the barn. It was measurably hotter outside. ---

The heat’s not so bad; I’m used to 100+. It’s the fact that’s it’s 55% humidity in my house right now. The swamp cooler, it does nothing! ---
