# How I met your mother. One of the characters doesn't want children, ever. Will this last? (spoilers)

I’ll join in on the Lily’s dad hatred - he’s got to go. He adds nothing to the show but making it cartoonish (that’s a good word for him). The odd visit is okay; a character who’s in the show each week, no way.

lily’s dad is in that weird middleground for me were i dont care for the character but like the actor so its bearable.
