# How in the world do I build a poll using the poll maker?

Click Build Poll.  
Select whether users can choose 1 answer or multiple answers.  
Type the question into the text box.  
Use the Add Option button to make the first possible answer.  
Repeat for all possible answers.  
Click Insert Poll when you’re done.

Poll must start on its own line.

After the poll is inserted, it will be clear how to add/remove/rearrange/edit the response items.

It might depend on your OS, but click Reply, choose the gear icon in the toolbar, then choose Build Poll.

I’ve tried and failed several times, such that I no longer even try. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious, but I’ve exhausted my tech-patience.

Never had a problem on the old boards.
