I actually don’t see why this is a big deal. Newscasters have words that might trip them up spelled out phonetically all the time. Granted, it’s usually names and more difficult words, but Of all the substantive things to harp on, this one is kind of silly, IMHO. I could actually imagine myself reading from a script and stumbling on the word “chemo” and saying something like “kemmo” because it’s an unusual looking word. ---

The President of the United States should be able to pronounce such a common word without having it spelled out for him. \*Chemo \*is a VERY common word today. You see this as something inconsequential. I see it as one more example of this man’s unfathomable STUPIDITY.
