I think the first time I got ‘Nice tits!’ yelled at me, I was 15 and walking to school alone, yelled by some guys in a van who crawled along the road keeping pace with me for half the street. I nearly had surgery (chickened out faily late in the waiting list) to reduce my boobs, mainly because I couldn’t go outside without guys staring, unless I was wearing a duffle coat or something, forget a nice fitted top. I once moved somewhere where literally _every single day_ I had a variation of ‘Nice tits!’ yelled at me by at least one random guy…

So yeah, I don’t care how good looking you are, if that’s something you say without a clear invitation to go there, I’m not interested in any futher conversation.

No.

I think that one of the biggest problems for modern civil rights activism is how it’s fragmented into thousands of factions that care about “rights for X” and not rights for everyone. Not only is it unfair in itself, but it lets the enemies of civil rights play the Divide and Conquer game. An ideal civil rights law or principle should be like the First Amendment; which is about free speech for everyone, not free speech for a list of groups and if you aren’t on the list too bad.

Please don’t go giving him ideas!!

Although come to think I haven’t seen, or heard, him in a loooong time.

I don’t regard that as creepy, I do regard “are you worth the climb?” creepy, or some variation on “what’s at the top of those legs then???”

You are never, ever, going to find out and if I catch you looking at me again, it’ll be the last thing you see.

Is what I’d love to say, but am too chicken.

The problem with that logic is that acting in such a way makes a man unattractive to a woman. It’s crude and it’s impolite; neither of which are features that help in attracting women.

who like to point it out.

Unless you’re in a meeting discussion new additions to your dairy herd, the phrase “nice tits” is better left out of any conversation.

It’s one of those inexplicable things that differentiate male and females and their perception of sexuality.

One thing I’ve noticed is that if you are walking towards a woman and you look at her tits she will try to look you straight in the eye. If you walk towards a woman and you look her straight in the eye she will look down at her tits as though she’s wondering what’s wrong with them.

Yes, I’m clueless.

Unless you’re at Fort Lauderdale during Spring Break, or New Orleans during Mardi Gras, the phrase, “Nice tits!” has no place outside a strip club (where the objectification of women is a given.)

It’s not a compliment, in any way shape or form, it a base sexist remark.

Or a bird watcher! You can make remarks about “nice boobies” then too…

Or possibly if the woman in question is wearing something like [this](http://www.birdorable.com/blog/check-out-these-great-tits/).\* 😃

\*(which I found while looking for that joke pic of a tit and a boobie (the birds, of course) saying their names)

Okay, I’ll give bird watchers tits and boobies. But, I see from the Wikipedia that Great Tits have a history of being harassed by woodpeckers and weasels and boobies are apparently thought to be to stupid to out wit sailors. But enough about Spring Break in FL.

Any kind of sexual comment made to a strange woman in public is intrusive and threatening. Any comment made to a strange woman in public, is a potential threat. It says “You must be interested in my very important opinion!” It says he has no boundaries, no empathy, and an overinflated sense of himself. Which makes him frightening.
