It really is very simple to solve a cube, I use the “top down” method and it takes less than two minutes. I could teach you the five moves necessary in an afternoon:
solve the top layer using logic
use a single move sequence, normal or handed, to solve the middle layer
use another move sequence to put the bottom corners in place
use another single move sequence to position the bottom middle pieces
use a memorised sequence to orientate the bottom middle pieces
As long as you can remember instruction and have a grasp of 3D you could do it. All you would have to do is practice for a few months to get the muscle memory necessary to do it blind.
