I love(d) this movie. I’ve probably seen it 10 or 20 times over the years. Who can forget the [Angelyne](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpDau9z-67E) or [Cause I’m a Blonde](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9Wi3A3skb0) scenes. I’m thinking I was introduced to it on USA’s UP all night, but it wasn’t nearly cheesy enough for that. It was actually a very good movie. ---

So, it seems it’s been credited inconsistently. Personally, I think “Blond” makes more sense in keeping with the running “Dumb Blonde” joke. And my hearing of the lyric has always been _B-L-O-N-D_. Geena Davis is about as miscast as a valley girl as Nicholas Cage was miscast as a punk in “Valley Girl”. ``` EGAE is okay as entertainment. But it's hardly a GOAT film ``` ---

There are three times in the song when she spells it. The first is: _I’m a blonde B-L-O-N-D_ second time it’s: _I’m a blonde B-L- **A** -N-D_ third time it’s: _I’m a blonde B-L-…I don’t know!_ As for how the song is officially titled, in my previous post I showed that it’s been inconsistent. Still, since it’s spelled “Blond” on the album artwork for _Goddess in Progress_ (as cited above), which was the original official release, I’m inclined to go with that. ---

It’s the kind of movie that deserves (and demands really) multiple viewings because the first time you watch it it’s as though you’re watching Part 3 of a six part series that didn’t bother making parts 1 and 2! (I actually think they talked about making a sequel but Peter Weller was busy). And it is so not even in the same league (or universe) as a film like _Earth Girls_. ---
