[QUOTE=Gatopescado;18126742No kidding. I remember working 60 hour weeks for just under $300. Then, at the end of the year, where you might get lucky and get a few big easy sales, management had the balls to cut your pay rate!

Much like most car sales positions. You start with what seems like a crazy commission rate… but it’s so hard to make sales against the more experienced salesmen that one or two a week is barely commute money. Then as your sales increase, your commission rates drop, until you are selling a quarter of the cars at the dealership for $40-50k take home.
Elmwood, where is this? If they do a fire sale I’d like to stop in. You are still in the Buffalo area?
Ahhhh mid 80’s and I worked at a mall in the video game arcade. Radio Shack was across the hall down a side corridor. We got in trouble several times playing with the remote control cars. I blame the little old ladies, c’mon what else is there to do say 10am on a Tuesday?
No, There was one of those too, huge ass place. I had no idea those were Radio Shack owned until coming across it during my search. The place I’m remembering was big, but not that big, maybe the size of an average unsupered Wal Mart.
Well, I just got a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter from them (as I needed it too quick to buy online.) That’s the type of thing they always did best. And since they are going out of business, I even got it half off!
