Pissing on a thought experiment (“well you can’t ride on a beam of light so stupid to think about it Einstein”) would be threadshitting. This does not seem like that.
I guess Einstein imagining riding on a beam of light would have gotten equally short shrift from Chronos then. ‘Impossible!’
Probably. And yes that would be threadshitting. There is an obvious utility in imagining the impossible. Even the imagine parallel lines do cross sort. This one though, no.
