# How is Trump's Russia controversy, election meddling, and related matters played in Russian media?

Does the average man-on-the-street Russian know about the ongoing controversy in the United States regarding Trump and Russia? Is the matter covered at all and, if so, does the ordinary Russian particularly care?

Now, I don’t mean to discuss how it is covered by outlets like RT that are intended for American consumption, but what do Russians think? What about the not-government-connected Russian who enjoys following politics, much like the members of this particular chat board?
