For some reason there’s a spot on the sidewalk in front of my neighbor’s house where there’s frequently a swarm of gnats when the weather is warm. Does it make you feel important to be the center of the swarming gnats?
It’s just there. You move through it and keep going.

I was very upfront about it in the OP. You didn’t need to go to an elaborate search. As I said, I was amazed at the mindset, and wanted to post it.
I have to admit, I’m even more amazed at what strange dendritic growth of comment followed from that silicate garden seed of magnesium sulfate.
