Gundhilde: Your species would be Chronic Lurker, orPoster With A Life. Take your pick.  
(The idea of a chronic lurker named Gundhilde brings to mind the mental image of a blond haired, liederhosen wearing Grethel-looking chick sneaking through the dark woods, spying on the weird looking geeks gathered in a group, discussing “felching”, “wombats”, and “particle physics” while slapping each other around with trout. Of course, I’m _sure_ I’m not the only one here with **that** particular image in their Mental Rolodex.)
