BTW. i thought you couldn’t eat human flesh, I always thought you got a disease or something from doing so.

My, limited, understanding is that even a rather small amount of heat applied over a long time is sufficient to make VC break down.
That would, I guess, leave out smoking the meat. As for pickling, just on a personal note, I ain’t eating nothing pickled.
