That Nokia 7700 looks realy nice, but it has one glaring omission: GSM850. Why is Nokia so reluctant to make a quad-band phone? Especially on their top-end devices?
It has a pretty new operating system with little 3rd party application support. I can’t even find any news of it having the usual suite of PDA functions.
It’s email is proprietary. Won’t sync with your POP accounts.
No keyboard.
It’s game buttons don’t look gameworthy – it’s certainly not a game deck.
No radio.
But, it did have video phoning. Let’s put that on our all-in-one list.
Peace.
Such as? Its got a notepad, a calender with alarm, contact manager which links directly to the phone, voice recorder, internet access, calculator…
Oh, and the OS isn’t new. Its more or less the same one as you got on the Psions. Trust me, I know - a good friend wrote a fair bit of it.
Yes it will. I’ve got it to sync with mine.
Touch screen. With choice of handwriting recognition or standard qwerty keyboard.
But there’s a new attachment for it. Plus there’s an mp3 player.
I’m impressed.
I’m also disappointed I couldn’t find any websites with a good review of the A920. Is is mainly a European thing right now?
But alas, it’s certainly not a game deck.
Peace.
