Stacks of change work too. It scares people. When I was in high school one lunch hour my friends and I put a stack of quaters in the middle of the hall and people would avoid it at all costs. It was great. They would leave a good two foot radius around the stack, like it would reach out and bite them if they got too close. ---

I have a bill I got in change a while back; it has a rubberstamped cartoon balloon, so George is saying, “I grew hemp.” If I saw a dollar on a bulletin board, I’d substitute the stamped one. ---

$1 posted on more public bulletin board, one that requires that posted items have an “approved” stamp. The bulletin board is the “Misc/For Sale” board. **Posted at 2:53 pm Central time 7/18/2005**. Not registered on “Where’s George” because I don’t care what happens to it later. I would like to know who took it and why, but I suspect I will not find an honest answer posted, if anything is posted at all. This is becoming an expensive hobby. ---

At a Gay bar in Berlin, the owner super glued a 5 DMark coin (a large coin, worth about $3.00 back then) in the toilet bowl in the women’s restroom. He would always get a chuckle when a woman would come out with her arm still wet. And speaking of which, in the Walmart parking lot over the weekend, my German vistor suddenly started screaming “Hot! Hot! Hot!” Seems she saw a quarter on the ground and picked it up. Did I mention it was 117 degrees in Las Vegas and that quarter had probably been on that asphalt, in the sun, all day. ---

I put a bunch of change I found at work into a coffee can, and put a cover over it marked “Found Money” and left it there for three years. Over that time there were a number of dollar bills exchanged for change, and eventually a ten and a five, along with a whole lot of pennies, and nickels. There was a big building picnic, and we spent it on charcoal, for our grill. The can went back up, but oddly, no one ever put money in it anymore. Tris ---

There’s probably no more homophobic environment than a men’s college dorm at a historically black college, except, of course, the elevator inside a men’s college dorm at a historically black college. I once Krazy Glued a quarter on the elevator floor and rode up and down on the car. Any time someone bent down to get it, I’d scream, “Get your mouth/ass away from my dick, you fucking fag!” Pretty soon, everybody was doing this to people unawares. The quarter stayed for a week before someone pried it off. Dudes were either refusing to get the quarter or avoiding riding the elevator altogether. Fucking hilarious. ---
