# How many charter members vs. total active members?

I don’t have any thread cite, but via email with **TubaDiva** right after the new suscription policy was announced, she mentioned to me that the intent was that staff members, including the Science Advisory staff, were going to be receiving complimentary accounts.

I hope I haven’t disclosed anything that was meant to be confidential.

Just counted 2,850 (without SDSAB and Mods) !! Looks like we’ll snug up the 3,000 nicely.

I also count 119 charter members online.
