Congressman Boehner (spelling?) has an elaborate top of the head do, which  
I think is a toupe.

A gun dealer of my acquaintance wears a rug. I didn’t notice until one day he was sitting down at a desk and I saw wig tape on his scalp. Now that you look with more awareness, it’s a really cheap-looking rug, like toy teddy bear’s fur.

One of my HS teachers had a rug that was _too_ good. The result was that he had perfect, jet black hair on top and slightly less black, shabby hair at the sides and back.

John Wayne once spoke at Harvard during the Viet Nam war. He rode in on an M113 armored personnel carrier. His audience, composed mostly of anti-war students was initially hostile, but he won them over at one point when someone asked him if his hair was real. He replied that yes, it was was real. “It’s not mine, but it’s real.”
