Hmm, I haven’t tried to work this out before. All within the UK (actually all within about 200 miles): Birmingham Leicester St Ives Leamington Spa Milton Keynes London (Wandsworth, Golders Green) Cheltenham = 7 ---

Sacramento, CA Santa Cruz, CA Oakland, CA Mbalmayo, Cameroon Guider, Cameroon Chengdu, China Yibin, China Washington, DC Manthe, South Africa If you count my “permanent address”, I’ve spent my entire adult life in a house I lived in once for six months more than a decade ago. In this list, I am counting situations where I’ve lived in a home (not a hotel or other temporary situation) and had no other residence to “go back to.” ---

I have lived in the same house in the same city for the past 20 years. I have lived in 21 total municipalities and 36 houses over the course of my life. Like liana\_f, my dad was a pastor. ---

I spent way too much time in Bassett park, lived next to a variety of Sabres and bowled and played Space Invaders at Transit Lanes. Putt Putt? Swimming and ice skating at Clearfield? That was another big one. I went to Maple (East) and Casey Middle. I have some friends who stayed in the area and are happy, but most left after college. ---

In chronological order they are: Oberamagau, Germany Fort Huachuca, Arizona (USA) Bangkok, Thailand Hong, Kong (UK possession at the time ) Bombay, India San Antonio, TX (USA) Hanau, Germany Presque Isle, ME (USA) Palo Alto, CA (USA) Khartoum, Sudan Brisbane Australia London, England Aberdeen, Scotland Budapest, Hungary Pleasant Hill, CA (USA) Kuwait City, Kuwait Luanda, Angola Yeah, I got around as an Army brat and currently as O&G company employee. 🙂 ---

18 addresses in 5 states. Wisconsin Michigan Indiana Illinois Maryland The first house I lived in was also the 15th house I lived in, but the house was in a different location, having been picked up and moved a quarter of a mile. The current house I live in is in the same geographic location as the first house I lived in but it’s a lot bigger. Different address too, since back in the day the roads and houses had no names, only fire numbers.
