# How many clocks did you reset today? (Hawaiians, don't mock!)

None. Either I’m weird, defiant, or just plain lazy, but I haven’t re-set my clocks in years. I leave them on standard time, and just make the mental adjustment during Daylight Savings Time.

1. It would have been more, but I forgot to change the antique video (it’s about 19 years old) in spring & only noticed a month later, so I left it, and the clock in the car is dead (I think it’s a loose connection, but I don’t use it enough to worry about fixing it). My newer mobile died on me, so I’m on the older one which doesn’t have a clock & I never use the time function on my digital camera, so I can safely ignore that (& the computers change themselves).

I wish they’d stop pratting around with the time, I don’t mind changing the clocks, it’s the tired feeling for a week afterwards I object to. Even when they go forwards & you get an hour extra in bed in the morning it doesn’t help - as you don’t feel tired till an hour later in the evening anyway. Plus the resentful looks from dogs who are conviced I’m starving them for an extra hour deliberately.
