I’ve only been to 20 countries; my native USA makes the 21st. The most _exotic_ was Turkmenistan a few years ago. I was fortunate to travel to most of the places on business, and many times the locals would take special time to show me around and make me feel ultra-welcome. This is especially true in Indonesia, which I’ve visited many times. I recognize and appreciate how blessed I am to have these experiences. My life is certainly richer because of them. ---

United States (home) Canada Germany Austria Czech Republic France St. Kitts and Nevis (been to both islands) Grenada I’ve been lucky enough to go to Canada several times and see different parts of the country; Vancouver, Victoria, Rainy Lake (Ontario), Montreal, Halifax, and Lunenburg (Nova Scotia). US (home) Canada Cayman Islands Bermuda United Kingdom France Netherlands Belgium (I was through it on the way from France to the Netherlands, but we didn’t stop.) Germany (When it was West Germany) Denmark Sweden Norway Switzerland Liechtenstein Austria Italy Yugoslavia back when it was a single country. The part I visited is now Slovenia ---

USA & Canada. Spent a better part of the 90s at the bars in Windsor, ON. It started off being a great place to drink as 19 and 20 year olds. Then I guess we just kept going out of habit. Plus, I think many of the girls in our group were a couple years younger than us, so they had an easier time getting into the Canadian bars. ---

Just various parts of Canada and to Juarez, where a guy was merrily welding on a building and sparks where flying all over as I walked near. He laughed and said “No more sparks on the sidewalk!” Sidewalk? He wasn’t even wearing safety glasses… (Pointless aside: I even where safety glasses to weed-whack. Hey kids everywhere, safety glasses are our friends.) ---

Wow! This is a traveled bunch. I’m amazed at how many countries some of you have visited. My (embarrassingly short) list: 1. USA (native)\* 2. England 3. Scotland\* 4. Netherlands\* 5. Bahamas Islands (cruise, just a few hours each) 6. Mexico 7. Canada \*Resided there – six months or more. ---

When in the Navy, I got to Italy, Spain, England, and France. Oh, and when I was stationed in San Diego, I went to Tijuana one day. 😃 From cruises, I’ve been to England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Iceland, Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas, USVI, BVI, Haiti, and in November, I’ll add Aruba, Curacao, Panama, and Costa Rica. I need to get out more. ---

I was born and raised in New Zealand. When I was ten the family went on a holiday (vacation) to Fiji. When I was 30 I moved to Australia. That is all. I am envious that there are so few countries down at this end of the world. It’s quite expensive to visit other places just due to distance, let alone living expenses. It’s not impossible, but it takes an effort, something I’ve never managed. Also, the aforementioned three countries I have been to are all island nations. I’ve never crossed a land border. ---
