I agree with the first two, but I’m surprised by the metric conversion. Given our tendency in the U.S. to exaggerate and get overly dramatic about all our problems, I’d have thought our shit tons would be in reality a little smaller than a shite ton. ---

A crap load [is 123.6 g](https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF02617184). This is right at 4.36 oz. 2000 \* 16 ÷ 4.36 = 7339.45 crap loads in a shit ton. Naturally when doing back of the envelope calculations we use the approximate conversion factor of 7340. So there is your question answered AND the conversion to metric. ---
