Irving, TX Sherman, TX Denton, TX Fort Worth, TX Grand Prairie, TX Vacaville, CA Bossier City, LA Incirlik Air Base, Turkey Atlanta, GA Flower Mound, TX Dallas, TX Richardson, TX These are all places where I had all my own stuff. ( Other places to add if you count living in an area for 1-2 months.-temporary assignments for medical school, residency, military) ---

If I list individual cities, it’s too many to count. So I’ll just list the metropolitan areas, of which there are only four: Philadelphia Montreal Los Angeles San Francisco Ed ---

As I define “lived”, it is where I have had a “permanent” mailing address, not just mail forwarded from somehwere I was REALLY living. Chronologically, from before I started getting mail to my name: Kailua, HI Parris Island, SC Beaufort, SC Durham, NC Quantico, VA Fort Bliss (El Paso) TX New Bern, NC Morehead City, NC New Bern, NC (again) Durham, NC (again) Williamsville, NY Amherst, NY Yarmouth, ME Beaufort, SC (again) Savannah, GA Coconut Grove, FL Miami, FL West Kendall, FL Lithonia, GA 19 places, counting repeats. ---

I feel so inadequate: Calgary, AB Mississauga, ON Kitchener, ON Three. Big whoop. And I was only 3-4 years old when we were in Mississauga, so I barely remember it. I guess it’s a good thing that I like staying in one place and just visiting other places… ---

San Leandro, CA Hayward, CA Concord, CA Seattle, WA Potomac, MD Atlanta, GA (might have technically been Decatur then) Largo, FL Gainesville, FL Tampa, FL Clearwater, FL Fairfield, OH Cincinnati, OH Columbia, MD Baltimore, MD Carouge, Switzerland Bad Soden, Germany Wiesbaden/Rambach, Germany Bangkok, Thailand Bang Plii, Thailand Blue Ash, OH Palm Harbor, FL Westchase, FL Some of those may not technically be cities. I didn’t count any place twice, although there are a few I moved back and forth to. Also, we lived in some place in Germany for about a month and I have no recollection what the little town name was. ---

In very loose chronological order, ignoring twofers: Ithaca, NY Washington, D.C. Boston, Mass. New York City, NY San Francisco, CA Ferndale, Mich. Alameda, CA El Cerrito, CA Berkeley, CA So, **nine**. Huh - I would’ve figured more, but I then lived in two of those ( SF and Alameda ) twice, at different points in my life. Export, PA where I spent a few full summers would be the next closest thing to an actual “lived in” city, but I wouldn’t really count it. ---

I lived in 13 different houses before the age of ten, but some were in the same cities. _ **City-wise, in no discernible order until I was 10:** _ Jackson, MI Parma, MI Lansing, MI East Lansing, MI Hudson, MI Adrian, MI Hanover Horton, MI There may have been others but I don’t remember. _ **then from 10 to 17** _ Brooklyn, MI _**then from 17 to present (in order)**_ Jackson, MI (again) Ann Arbor, MI Ypsilanti, MI New Brunswick, NJ Where to next? No idea. Probably north of here. FWIW I consider Ann Arbor my hometown. ---
