I don’t do it regularly - only when I have to get changed at the beach, or something like that - but it doesn’t bother me at all when I do. ---

I enjoy being naked. I wish it was socially acceptable be naked more often. I would like to try hanging out with nudists/naturists sometime. Hey, here’s an idea. Let’s have a naked dopefest! ---

When I lived in Vancouver, I was a regular at [Wreck Beach](http://www.wreckbeach.org/), and I’ve got the T-shirt and towels from the Bare Buns runs to prove it. I have many friends who I would see naked on the beach, and later see at parties, for dinner, etc… Also, if people are spending the night at my place, or vice versa, casual nudity en route to the shower is acceptable depending on their own comfort level. I’m not going to force someone to see me naked, but if I know they don’t care about it, I’m not going to get obsessive about wearing housecoats down the hallway. ---

Nope. Sorry. If I had to change in front of another woman, I’d turn my back. And there’s no way I’d change in front of a man not my husband. So you know I’m not runnin’ around nekkid anywheres.\* 😉 \*I have had to hang my bare arse off the side of the boat to potty before when other boats were close enough to maybe see the flash of blinding white skin. ---

Just call me NajaNudiepants. It’s sadly far less common now, fewer old friends and all, but when I lived back “home” we’d get nekkid all the time. Also, I thought the three most famous pieces of advice were this: 1. Never cook bacon naked. 2. Never get involved in a land war in Asia. 3. Never get involved with a Sicilian when death is on the line. 😃 ---

No. Nudity, to me, is for sex and bathing only. I’m not in the least ashamed of my body (though apparently I should be :rolleyes: ) but I do not care to be naked more often than I feel is necessary. ---

Sweet God, no. I don’t even like taking my shirt off in the pool. Even hanging around the house I have to have boxers and a T-shirt. ---

I’ll be the contrarian and say I find casual social nudity to be kind of gross and skeevy. I mean, to each his own, but I personally would find it weird and uncomfortable to hang out in the nude with anyone but my wife. ---

Gym changing room and in the sauna, yes, but then that’s not very remarkable is it? I did actually go to a nudist club once with a group of people (one was a friend, the others were friends of his so I didn’t know them that well) which I’d been told about by someone and it sounded fun. It was soooooooooooo creepy - it was full of a lot of men (many of them older) standing around rubbing themselves. Not nice at all. I was hoping for a club full of hedonistic and open minded clubbers and what I got was a dark room with the lights on. _Shudder_ My costume of choice when I go to fetish clubs is to go nude, but then I guess that goes into the sexual form of nudity (that and I have a good 2 and a half stone to lose before I even think about doing that again - come on weight watchers!). ---

While my breasts leave much to be desired, I don’t really have that weird “I need to always be dressed” thing going on. I wouldn’t just get naked in front of people, but I don’t have a problem with it. Say, for example, my friends said “hey, **Litoris** , I knwo you don’t have your bathing suit, but let’s jump in the hot tub.” No big deal. There are a few of my friends that I would feel skeeved if they were to go naked around me or suggest I do likewise – but those are the ones that kind of skeeve me anyway. ---

[/QUOTE] I’m with you…there is no way I would ever feel comfortable hanging out nude with my friends. If any of them wanted to, I would be really weirded out. My husband and I did try the nude beach thing once, in Hawaii…I found a few too many people who seemed to be doing it for the “looky-lou” factor, vs. just feeling the “freedom” of being nude. I didn’t find it particularly compelling, and I wouldn’t do it again. ---

I play rugby, and I used to wrestle in high school; as far as being naked around naked guys, it doesn’t even warrant a second thought now days. I’ve shared saunas nude with male friends, and hot tubs nude with males and females. In other words, casual nudity isn’t a big deal to me. ---

I have no problem with public nakedness. I first encountered non-sexual nakedness in person at art school\*, in the form of the life-drawing models. Later, I went to a pagan gathering in Wisconsin, and it was clothing-optional. After the first few minutes of acculturation, neither of these were a problem at all. It was actually refreshing to see how far everyone was from how the media tells us we should look. Among all the other ‘uglies’, I was able to stop worrying about my personal ‘ugliness’: a huge relief. And by ‘ugly’ I mean ‘normal’. That’s how distorted things are. And the woman I was attracted to, I would have been attracted to whether she was dressed or not. Pity she hooked up with my best friend. Ah well. I never saw her again anyways. These days, the Pride Parade along Yonge Street in Toronto every summer includes nakedness (among the marchers). That’s not a problem for me either. One thing I like about the Pride movement is that it has increased tolerance for not-perfect appearances and bodies. Edit: I do not do casual nakedness with friends these days though. Lack of interest on everyone’s part, really. Also, it’s winter. [sub]\*I also first encountered _sexual_ nakedness in person there as well. Biut that’s another story.[/sub] ---

I’ve been to nude beaches and would do so again, but only if said beaches were populated only by complete strangers. The idea of hanging out naked with close friends is really uncomfortable to me. For me to be comfortable, the friend would have to be REALLY close. Venue has a lot to do with it. Locker rooms are easier than, say, office parties. ---
