# How many FUCKING times must we go through this Stunt

Sometimes teenagers are selfish and pick arguments over stupid things. This isn’t one of them.

NO window treatments? Good lord-if my mother hadn’t allowed me window treatments when I was a teenager-you better BELIEVE I’d be ranting like this. Ever hear of privacy? My window faces the street-if I didn’t have a blind or curtains, I’d have to stoop down on the floor to get dressed every morning, unless I wanted to give the neighbors a show. Or at night when the light’s on, you can see straight into my room-thank GOD for mini-blinds!

Windows without at least plain white drapes look awful and unfinished, not to mention they let in way too much light when you’re trying to get some sleep in the morning.

Shit, people, give the kid a break.

Is she taking hormone replacement therapy? Then I could see your comment about it being ‘that time of the month’ as being completely accurate. I lived with my mom for a short while when she began menopause. It’s incredibly difficult for her to deal with the changes she’s going through.

However, if you’re just complaining because her behavior changes when she’s at a high point in her regular cycle, you need to take a step back and stop being a sexist asshole.

I’m guessing it was put in the window to block out as much light as possible. In my parents’ second house, we lived across the street from a baseball field and my mom put tin foil in my and my parents’ bedroom windows so the lights wouldn’t keep us up.
