And are they all your miles?

Inspired by another thread about car age, I ask dopers just how many miles they’ve racked up on their vehicles.

My auto has over 281,000 miles on it. I’ve had it less than 10 years and all the miles are mine (or in the family).

Mrs. Mercotan has about 220,000 on her vehicle, over about 10 years, all ours.

**elfbabe** has about 181,000 but only about 50 or 60 K of them are from our family so far.

About 220,000 on a 1997 Toyota Tercel.

The recently retired catmobile has 396K on it-I bought it with 47K, so I’ve put just shy of 350K on it in 15 years.

My good ol’ 1968 [VW Beetle](http://www.mortalwombat.com/Image/bug.jpg) has something like 300,000 miles on it. Can’t be sure, since the odometer was broken for a couple of years. This was the first car that I ever bought with my own hard-earned money, and by golly, I am gonna keep it until it dissolves into dust. Or until I do.

I owned an 81 Saab 900 and when she finally decided to die she had nearly 285K miles.

I loved that little car. My family has had several Mercedes from the late 70’s on and some are still plugging away. My mothers 83 Benz coupe is still in her garage. 🙂 I own an avalanche now and don’t expect him to go much over 150k…then again I’m not going to keep it much past 60k as it is.

My 93 Toyota pickup, 121,000. My wifes 97 Taurus, 84,000. My 66 GTO, odometer says 71,000, I have put about 6,000 on it since it was restored.

My 1997 Tracer (up market Escort) has 133K, all mine. It may have a few hundred more than that but it had a sudden bout of suspended animation in February when the tripmeter & odometer stopped working. Started back to working just as suddenly w/ no apparent trigger for either the stop or start.
I had a 70 Chevelle for about 2 months and I added a few hundred to her 290K mileage.

95 Ranger- 85,000 all mine

05 Expedition- 10,000 mine too

(I live 2.5 miles from work)

I like how I never racked up the mileage in the truck, but everyone wants to ride in the big new one. 🙂

'93 Infiniti–223,000 miles (roughly), all but 50,000 ours

'98 Saturn–87,000 miles, all but 22,000 ours

(road trips, long commute)

I don’t buy new cars!

My odometer quit working (along with the spedometer) at 130,000 about 4 or maybe 5 years ago. If I had to guess, I’d say I’m over 200,000 easily by now. Oh, it’s a Nissan Extra Cab 4x4 pickup.

'02 Ford Escape - 46,000 miles. All mine.

My husband just bought a new truck last month, he’s probably got at least 1000 miles or more on it by now.

2000 Saturn with about 31,500 miles.

I’ve driven probably more than 30,000 of that. I’d be shocked if I haven’t been in the car for 31,450.

1995 Nissan Sentra- The odometer hit 96,000 last Saturday. I can only claim the miles from 63,000 onward, though. I’ve had the car since April 2001.

My last car, a 1988 Toyota Corolla, was good for 121,000 miles before giving up the ghost. I put about half of its miles on it.

I’ve got a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup with about 115,000 miles on it. Every single one of them is mine (except for the 34 that it had off the lot.) I spent a couple of years commuting in it, and it’s my only vehicle.

1990 Toyota Celica, 116,000 miles, about 15K from my father (who bought it new out of a warehouse in '92) and the rest from me (since '93).

I fill the gas tank once a month whether it needs it or not. I love my walkable neighborhood.

My 1995 GMC Sierra pickup has just short of 56,000 miles. I bought it new, so they’re all my miles. The standard expectation (in the Blue Book) is 10K per year, and I’m just over half that.

Only 47k on a 1999 Ford Taurus, to help peg the other end of the spectrum. All of them are ours.
