…by friendly fire and accidents than by the Taliban? Do we normally lose such a large percentage to screwups? Should many of the Killed In Action telegrams sent out in WWII have really said something like “Private Jones died because we dropped a bomb in the wrong place” or “Private Smith and his fellows died because we should have known better than to let him have the keys to the Jeep?”
