New York: Yes Los Angeles: Yes Chicago: Yes Houston: No Philadelphia: Yes Phoenix: Yes San Antonio: No San Diego: Yes Dallas: Yes San Jose: Yes Austin: No Indianapolis: Yes Jacksonville (FL): Yes San Francisco: Yes Columbus: Yes Charlotte: No Fort Worth: No Detroit: Yes El Paso: No Memphis: No So 13, Though the sizing here is counting city proper rather than the Metropolitan area. For example, Columbus is the largest city in Ohio, but its metropolitan area population makes it 3rd behind Cleveland and Cincinnati. ---

Toronto - Lived there Montreal - Yes Vancouver - Expo '86, baby Calgary - Yes Edmonton - Yes Ottawa - Yes Quebec City - Yes Winnipeg - Yes Hamilton - Yes Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge - Lived there London - Yes Victoria - Yes, but I was too young to remember St. Catherines - Niagara - Yes (Niagara Falls, anyways) Halifax - Yes Oshawa - Passed through it on the 401 Windsor - Passed through en route to U.S. Saskatoon - Lived there Regina - Yes Barrie - Yes St. John’s - No So the only one I’ve definitely never been to is St. John’s. Likewise, Newfoundland & Labrador is the only province I haven’t visited. ---

I’m a little surprised about Honolulu being #54 on that list in the link. When I lived there, people liked to bandy about the “fact” that it was the 11th-largest American city. They must have been confusing the city population with that of Honolulu County, which covers the entire island of Oahu. ---

The Census Bureau treats Hawaii differently because it has no local government below the county level. The “city” of Honolulu on that list is just an arbitrarily-defined urban area. The state defines Honolulu County as a single city (none of the other counties are cities). ---

Boston, Chicago, LA, Nashville, and Memphis, San Antonio. that makes 6. I visited Boston a few times when I was 6 and 7. We lived in Falmouth Mass. I think my dad flew into Boston coming back from Viet Nam. ---

Living in Thailand now, and the 20 largest cities are: Bangkok Nonthaburi Pak Kret Hat Yai Nakhon Ratchasima Chiang Mai Udon Thani Surat Thani Mae Sot Khon Kaen Nakhon Si Thammarat Pattaya Nakhon Sawan Ubon Ratchathani: The only no Nakhon Pathom Phitsanulok Rangsit Phuket Songkhla Laem Chabang Of those, Ubon Ratchathani is the only one I’ve not been to. It’s _way_ the hell over by Laos and Cambodia. So that’s 95%. ---
