Not sure of the total, but I have 10 pairs near the door to the house. Winter clogs Gardening clogs Other gardening clogs Tevas Thongs Winter boots Hiking shoes Mow the lawn shoes House slippers The clogs that need to be retired At work I’ve got Clogs I wore to work Old steel toes New steel toes Then I’ve got two closets with I have no idea exactly, but off the top of my head theres: Spats Sneakers Ski boots Dress shoes x3 Muck shoes I’m sure there’s more, but that’s 20. And only half of them have laces. ---

I happened to look in the bottom of my closet this morning - I saw a pair of black Reeboks and some cream Docksiders that I’d forgotten about. Honestly can’t remember the last time I wore either pair. ---

Female Shoes are my enemy. Hate 'em. 1 pair crocs black 1 pair pink flip flops(only worn to the nail salon) 1 pair Ugg boots I don’t wear slippers in the house, I wear thick hunting socks if my feet are cold. 1 pair of birkenstocks, hand me down from my middle daughter, never wear them. I much prefer barefootedness. I know, I know, the stereotypical Arkansas hick with no shoes on. Plus I have no life, why do I need shoes? ETA now if we want to get into the lil’wrekkers closet… ---

I’m a guy, but also a packrat, so those cancel out. They’re all in good condition, except as noted. Adidas sneakers (new) throwback New Balance sneakers normal New Balance sneakers (shabby) Timberland dock shoes (not great) Johnston & Murphy dress shoes Keen sandal-style water shoes Merrell closed-toe water shoes Champion flip-flops Timberland hiking boots New Balance hybrid sneakers/hiking boots I guess that’s 10 pair. However, I’ll generally only wear my newest sneakers and the flip-flops. ---

Hi I’m Deser and I’m a sneaker addict (male). Sneakers: Over 50. Yes 5-0. Fifty. Dress shoes: 4 (including 1 pair of patent leather for a tux) Casual: 2 (a lighter grey and a darker grey). No Boots. Sandals (as in the Nike/Addidas style, not flip flops/thongs/whatever you call the ones that have the strap through the toe): 5 or 6 I think. EDIT: Those are current rotation, excellent condition shoes. I probably have some crappier ones hiding under the bed or back of the closet. ---

Male, 6 pair total. Sneakers, 3 pair (New, old and worn, and decrepit. I don’t throw out sneakers until they actually come apart; I just relegate older pairs to bad-weather, grimy wear until then.) Crocs, 1 pair (Wet-weather slippers around the yard, mostly.) Dress shoes, 1 pair (For the occasional wedding, funeral, or interview.) Tabi, 1 pair (What?) ---

Male, 67, retired. 2 pair of black dress shoes. One pair is my everyday ‘go to store/dinner/barber/etc.’ which I wear to destruction and the other is my ‘fancy’ pair which gets very little work now that I’m retired. 1 pair sneakers/athletic. 1. Since this thread is back from the dead… Male, age 40: 1 pair of black “casual shoes” as Sketchers calls them, my everyday shoes that I wear to work, the store, etc. 1 pair of sandals 1 pair of hiking boots 1 pair of dress shoes 1 pair of cheap flip-flops 1 pair of slippers 1 pair of old sneakers I wear when I mow the lawn There are a couple of other pairs that I still have around but haven’t worn in years because apparently my feet got wider at some point and they don’t fit comfortably anymore, so I’m not counting them.
