Snow Boots - 1 Merrell hiking boots/shoes - 4 (one pair I hold on to for sentimental reasons. They really should go but I love them. I love Merrell hiking shoes/boots.) Other hiking Boots - 1 Steel-toed boots - 1 (had to get for an oil rig tour) Dress shoes - 4 Dress boots - 1 Merrell Jungle Moc - 1 Clogs - 1 Flip Flops - 4 (plus one pair I tossed that my cat chewed) Fleecy Crocs - 1 Regular shoes - 1 Birks - 1 Chaco sandals - 1 Riding shoes - 1 Total = **23** , not including the 2 pairs of slippers I tossed (never wear them) and the flip flops I tossed. ---

I have 18, which I gather is a lot for a guy. New running Old/training running Indoor work boots Outdoor work boots (the outdoor ones are muddy/grass stained, and it’s a pain to clean them off every time I need to work indoors) Deck shoes/docksiders Sandals (OK, mandals) Slippers Brown wing tips Black dress (shiny) Black dress (matte Merrells Brown casual boots Hiking boots Gym cross-trainers Tan bucks Bone bucks Swimmers (not sure what they’re really called; sort of booties I wear at the beach, makes it easier to walk around when there are a lot of shells and things. The beach we go to is off the beaten path and not really groomed or cleaned up, so there’s a lot of jetsam about) Snow boots I think my wife only has 8-10, although her professional dress/working days are over. ---

2 pairs of dress shoes (1 brown, 1 black) 1 pair Merrell hiking shoes 1 pair Nike sneakers (kept clean) 1 pair dirty old Adidas sneakers (mowing the lawn, dirty situations) 1 pair Crocs (only for kicking around the house/water parks, I promise) 1 pair flip flops 1 pair golf spikes 1 pair cold weather/hunting boots 9 pairs isn’t _too_ bad for a guy. I’ll hand in my Manly Man card if I hit double digits though. ---

They have everything from el-cheapo brands to shoes that started out at $450+. I have about 40-ish pairs, if I had to guess. Some are quite cheap, some were expensive (for me $200 is expensive, and I have few pairs that where that much). I like shoes, I have very regular sized feet so it’s easy to find pairs that look good without going nuts - very unlike shopping for clothes. ---

I’m not Imelda Marcos, by any means: 6 pairs of dress shoes (4 black, 2 brown) for court 4 pairs of sneakers for home and weekends 2 pairs of fuzzy-lined slippers for cold winter days at home; one in good shape, one old ‘n’ ratty but kept as backup 1 pair of boots for hiking, woodswalks, yardwork, etc. 1 dilapidated pair of rubber mocs I really ought to throw away 1 pair of El Cheapo sandals 1 pair of swimshoes for rocky/slippery areas 1 pair of Blucher moccasins for Cub Scout meetings and whenever My wife and three sons all have Crocs. I have none. Thus shall it remain. ---
