Hmmmm, let’s see: my flamed Chucks, my black Chucks, my red & white checkerboard slip-on Vans, my beat-to-shit leather boat shoes, a pair of black wingtips, a pair of brown cap toes, a pair of white & leopardskin oxfords, and my trusty 12-year-old black bullhide boots. That’s eight. ---

6 pair Converse low-top 2 pair Converse high-top 2 pair Vans 2 pair New Balance running shoes 3 pair casual ballet flats 1 pair dressy ballet flats 6? pair heels 1 pair Pumas 1 pair Roos 1 pair 10-eye Grinders steel-toed boots 1 pair 3-eye " " " 3 pair flip-flops 1 pair non-slip Mary Janes (for work) 1 pair other Mary Janes 1 pair generic black Velcro sneakers **32?** There’s probably a few pairs I forgot, but I only wear about 3 or 4 pairs regularly. Most of the heels and dressy shoes I bought for an old office job. Everyday, it’s usually flip-flops or Chucks, and I’ll occasionally throw on some of the other casual shoes for fun ('cause turquoise Roos look awesome with almost any outfit). This is about as girly as it gets for me, though. ---

1 pair of sneakers 1 pair of old sneakers (backups, yes I’m a pack rat) 1 pair of flip flops 2 pair of work type shoes 2 pairs of riding boots 5 pairs of heels 1 pair of high heeled boots 13 pairs, geesh that sounds like alot. I don’t wear high heels very often though. ---

I have about a dozen and this is considering: [ul] [li]I am a guy[/li][li]This is _after_ I gave away 6 or 7 pairs to a charity collection thing (what do they do with them?) [/li][/ul] The worst thing is, I still feel like I need to buy more. There are clothes I own that somehow don’t look right with any of my existing shoes… ---

I’m a guy. 2 pairs flip flops 2 pairs casual shoes, one brown, one black 2 pairs dress shoes, one brown, one black 1 pair of adidas that can go with jeans or shorts and can be used as workout shoes 1 pair of running shoes. So, that makes 8. ---

For the past two decades I’d only had one, which I’d wear until they fell apart.
