Africa, 146/147, and that’s because I froze on “Republic of Congo,” I’m used to seeing “Congo-Brazzaville” and “Congo-Kinshasa,” rather than their ridiculously similar official names. (He said, sniffily.) Asia, 83/84. Got Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan mixed up. Australia, 24/24. Canada, 39/39. Caribbean, 46/72. My waterloo. Got the big ones, didn’t get the microcountries. Central America, 42/42. Europe, 111/111. Middle East, 87/87 (learned from my Turkmenistan/Uzbekistan mistake…) South America, 39/39 USA, 150/150 Continents, 33/33 ---

142/147. I must admit, I made some _absolutely idiotic_ mistakes in that one. I confused Kenya and Tanzania, for dog’s sake!!! For a couple of years, there was an atlas on the floor beside our toilet, so I ended up learning a lot about world geography. ---

145, but I’m protesting, because I know full well where Gambia is. However, I didn’t center my click well enough, so I lost a point. I succeeded on my second try, but was still bothered by the fact I had “blown” my shot at a perfect score when I got Central African Republic. I went south of the country formerly known as Zaire when I should have gone north. Had the format been “drag the name of each country to its proper spot on the map, then click ‘OK’ to lock in your answer”, I’d have gotten 100% for sure. ---

66 I started out well then I crashed. I tried to console myself by taking the U.S. one but I only got 148 I would have got 150, but I couldn’t get the damn mouse to click on Rhode Island, it kept giving me Conneticut! ---
