Well we are in the southeastern conference, so Iā€™m technically in the Southeast. Iā€™d probably have to be already in your state before I could come. Much as Iā€™d like to; Itā€™s my favorite place to vacation! ---

Well, Iā€™ve been living in the South for the last 12 years (yikes!). I did attend one or two of the famous Florida Dopefests, way back in the day when I lived in Florida. Now a trip to Atlanta would be easier (living in Athens). šŸ˜‰ But Iā€™m hoping not to be in the South much longer. ---

There were Florida Dopefests? Must have been before I was around. ā˜¹ Iā€™m in South Florida. There are a few of us here. I keep waiting for life to calm down, or some Doper to visit the area, to try to organize something. Depends on when/whereā€¦but I suspect anything for SE Dopers in general will be further away than I will travel. ---

It was more of a Central Floridafestā€¦ And they mustā€™ve beenā€¦ 9-10 years ago (yikes!). I havenā€™t lived in FL since 2004ā€¦ I refuse to believe itā€™s been 9 years. Nonono ---

Iā€™ve been to a very small DopeFest in Tampa and a somewhat larger one in Winter Park/Orlando. I think that there may have been another Tampa area one once upon a time, but I could be mixing that up with another. Anyway, everyone knows that Florida is an anomaly that is not in the South. JC: Some friends of mine are threatening a weekend road trip to Charleston in early April. Not sure whether or not weā€™d make it up, but if so would love to say hello. ---
