I’m from Flint, but attending school in PA. My family (excluding my mom) are all dopers, though I don’t know if my dad has paid up yet. Plus Anna’s SO. (I call my sisters and the SO The Junior Doper Society of Mid-Michigan. They are all in high school, though very, very cool people despite the whole teenage thing.) ---

Well, I was born in Detroit but we came out here when I was three. My Dad spent his formative years in Detroit though, with summers in the Keeweenaw. ---

Raised in Ann Arbor, in the shadow of the Wolverines, but left when I went in the Navy many years ago and somehow landed in Joisey. I tried my pronunciation out on the [Michigan Accent](http://www.michigannative.com/michiganaccent.html) page the other day. I still have it! ---
