It doesn’t take long for the numbers to stack up if you’re sexually active. Party two, three or more nights a week and hookup with at least one new person every weekend, it’s pretty easy to do and real easy to see that after a few (or several years) of this the numbers can become quite unbelievable. ---

That is how I calculated mine. If you figure going out at least two nights a week, that is between 52 to 104 partners per year. Figure 18 years of going out and it is easy to reach one thousand partners. ---

How many: About 25. More than half of those were in college. Age: 39. For one more month. Sex: Female Orientation: Straight Best: My current BF. What can I say? I’m in love. That tends to make everything better. Worst: Time or partner? The worst was probably my 2nd or 3rd time. It didn’t have the excitement of the 1st, but I still didn’t know what I was doing and they were rather uncomfortable. The worst partner was probably an old BF who never, ever got the message that he was grabbing me too hard, and that sex didn’t need to follow a preplanned program of “do A, then B, then C” every single time. ---

Hmm…I literally have to recall their names to count them, but I manage to in chronological order, so does that mean I’m not a man-slut? What I wish I knew is how a person finds 52 to 104 persons a year, or even more, willing to have sex with them. It pretty much confirms my suspicions that I was absent on the day when they taught the mating ritual. ---

Me, I have had sex with virgins, just using my talking skills, and sluts, just using my wallet to buy them a drink or two (only examples, don’t get mad anyone). Perhaps it is a lack of standards (although I do pride myself on my selection of women). For me, some of it was the fact that I was in the Marines and for a few years when I was in, it was an area where there were NO Marines, so I was a good catch. I have had sex with women who just had sex with me to say they were with a Marine. Hell, that is why I am with my wife now, she just wanted to screw me. Part of it was the way I looked at sex, my Mom had low morales, so I did not look at it as a big thing, to have sex with someone. And SOMETIMES it becomes a challenge and once you do it, you keep going for the next challenge. ---

The aforementioned Denise does not read these Boards… Additionally, I do need to go back and rescind…I’d forgotten what the experience was like with Theresa…it was very…“lackluster” and therefore truly falls into the “worst” category… Note that I also said that NONE of them were “bad”…though I do stand by my update with Theresa. ---

The interesting thing (as in “someone should write a sociology or psychology paper on this”) is how **dalej42** seems to unquestionably assume that the chance of having sex with a new person is around 75% every night you go out. I’ve gone out hundreds if not thousands of times, but my number remains two. **dalej42** , this is in no way meant to be offensive towards you. Absolutely not. I just find different mindsets fascinating. ---

If you go out desperate to get laid but thinking you probably won’t, you won’t, because you’ll give up too quickly; and if you’re a guy who goes out desperate to fall in love but hoping to start with a one-night stand, you probably won’t either. But if your standards are appropriate to your situation and you know what you want and where to go, it’s not hard. To be blunt, my number’s as high as it is because, when I was being a manwhore and was in a get-laid-tonight place, I’d look for women who were clearly emotional vulnerable in one way or another–women who wanted to get laid for reasons having little to do with emotional health. ---

I have gone out loads and loads of times, but I have never gone out with the intention of getting laid. Ever. When I have thought about it at all, it has been more of a “nice if it happens” thing. ---

The first time with #3 was the worst, she really didn’t seem very into it. It still wasn’t “bad,” just not as good as it could have been, which brings me to the best: Possibly also #3. It’s possible that the contrast between the first time and the rest factors in to make it seem better than it was. ---
