Not sure that I’ve ever actually lived anywhere other than New York State, though several different areas there. I went to boarding school a couple of years each in Maine and in Massachusetts, spent two or three months in Santa Cruz, and have had longish visits (but shorter than the Santa Cruz stay) in several other states. I didn’t think of any of them as “home”, though. ---

It is a bit of a debate whether the UK is a country which would make Scotland, Wales, England and N.Ireland the provinces/regions or whether those are countries and counties are the provinces/regions so I will answer for both. - England - Scotland almost Wales I have lives with 0.5 miles from the border or (using geographical counties rather than administrative) - Warwickshire, England - Cheshire, England - Merseyside, England (without moving, the county lines were changed) - Tyne and Wear, England - Middlesex, England - Shropshire, England - East Sussex, England - Perthshire, Scotland ---

I’ve lived in 6 different states and 2 countries: My infant / toddler years: • Philippines (Metro Manila, NCR National Capital Region) • California • Illinois My youth years: • New York • Connecticut My adult years: • California (again) • Oklahoma • North Carolina • California (again) In the Marine Corps I had training stints in other states. Not permanently living but was there for extended time periods: • Texas • New Mexico • Mississippi • Washington • Wisconsin • Norway What states have I voted in / been registered to vote in? • Connecticut • California For my wife it is just the one state: California, born and raised and lived. She don’t get out much. 🙂 We’re talking about living in each state, however I have visited each of the 50 states. The first state I was ever in was Hawaii, and the last was Alaska. ---
