For me with the hot shower water flowing the urge is sudden and strong and yes I pee. I need to go right then and there and aim for the drain. Perhaps some remnant from infancy or fetus-hood that still exists in me. One hostel I stayed at had a do not to pee in the shower (or the owner will cry), I stayed there 2x, each time it was very difficult to honor that request but I did. ---

I never knew peeing in the shower could be such a big deal. If I need to pee and am about to shower, I’ll hold it until I get into the shower and then pee with wild abandon. I aim for the drain and let the water wash it all down. Btw, I like to keep my bathroom clean. There was mention of pooping in the tub…think there’s a band called bathtub shitter. Lol! ---

If I have to pee when I’m in the shower, I pee. If I have to pee prior to a shower, I wait to start the shower before I pee, in order to save a flush. It’s going down the drain anyway. Usually per month this happens about 5-10 times. Oh, and while I pee in the shower, I generally am bathing my upper body simultaneously, so as to not negate the water-saving benefit via standing near-idle in a running shower. ---
